Flosdorff in Monschau

The restaurant has a wonderful touch of the Eifel and reflects life here again, the food was very satisfactory (rump steak with herb butter) the amount was plentiful and still very warm when it arrived at home I would order here more often Very satisfied top restaurant

Ordered there for the first time today! The food was still warm despite the relatively long delivery route! Super nice and courteous staff experienced on the phone and during delivery. The food (schnitzel, salad and fried potatoes) was very tasty. Great value for money!

We ordered food today and had it delivered. The food was there about 40 minutes after ordering and everyone tasted very good! The kids loved the chicken nuggets (presumably homemade). The schnitzel were great too! And there was a little thank you for the order. Highly recommended!

It was very tasty and the salad bar was a good idea

Simple menu, but nothing comes out of the deep fryer here. In the kitchen, the schnitzel is knocked by hand, the camembert is breaded and fried. Everything was delicious and the service is super friendly.

Don't expect culinary delights here. The food is typically German. A plate of hot food of decent quality. When it is very busy it is sometimes difficult to find a table outside. Friendly staff, good value for money.

Nice location, delicious food, nice staff. The food is good quality, definitely not finished products. Everything freshly prepared. However, we would have liked a few more mushrooms in the creamy mushroom sauce.

Delicious flamkuchen eaten and delicious waffles, very cheap and nice terrace in the middle of the market, it was busy but we didn't have to wait too long.

Food was tasty and well made, with big portions for a good price (main dishes starting from 7-8€). The restaurant offers some typical meals from the country and region: currywurst, flammkuchen...

Impolite and rude waiter and the food (at least the meal I had which was chicken pasta) was very bad.

Fine with me. The food was homemade, even the sauces. Generally a bit old-fashioned but okay. Certainly one of the best restaurants in Monschau, we were only disappointed by others for two days as far as Flosdorff.

I've probably already seen a lot. But the level of insolence really can't be beat. Be it the fly in the ointment, which was fully charged with a mere: "You were also way too loud" or the reserved table that we would have to vacate early. Ordered mayonnaise should have been shared because the lady didn't want to get any more. Please go somewhere else. Truly not to be recommended.

Delicious food and good service in the middle of a picturesque atmosphere. Only the toilets could be cleaner, but this is more likely due to the guests who do not leave them as they find them.

Stayed there. Small apartment in an old house simply furnished. Location in the middle of the place, simply brilliant.

The portions are plentiful, the price-performance ratio is definitely right. In terms of taste, I was very satisfied (bratwurst with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut) and the service was very friendly and prompt. Every wish was fulfilled and every effort was made to offer us a nice stay. Highly recommended!

The service takes forever. Excessively overwhelmed. Bring time with you. And as far as the food is concerned, it's really not worth waiting. We are happy that there are enough alternatives

Super delicious food, delicious waffles (unfortunately not quite through, but think more of an oversight) and super committed service. I can only recommend it. Service on July 1st 2020 also changed accordingly. Nice atmosphere.

I stayed here for 1 night with a friend and everything was so amazing.! Luckily we got the best room (Room no.1) with a nice living room overlooking the market place and the river! The food was good and the service was commendable. Everyone were so nice .! The checkin /checkout process was also very easy! If you want to spend a night in Monschau, this is the best place to be.

Very friendly service, great kitchen. Ambience inside is very nice, only the music could be a little quieter. Prices are also okay, so clearly 5 stars 🤩!

Surprised by the 4+ rating. Very rude waitress, lazy soup (powdery and sweet mustard soup). Didn't dare to ask for some bread... :)

We had to wait for an hour to get our food on a Saturday evening. Service was friendly. The food was okay - for a steep price. It might be cheap in Monschau, but we felt the overall value was lacking.

It is an great restaurant where you enjoy the German cuisine. Here you have the menu card in different languages, and a lovely staff.

I love this cheap restaurant and people are very very nice

We had lunch in Hotel Flosdorff on the 28th December. The restaurant of the hotel is very cosy, has very friendly personnel and the food was very good. What made our experience especially pleasant was that my son left his backpack in the restaurant and we realised it only after returning home. The personnel of the restaurant sent the the backpack very diligently back home and did not even charge for the sending costs.

Very, very nice nice place.

Nice quiet place right in the center, with super friendly staff and very reasonable prices. I ordered a fried trout (about 15€ with potatoes and salad) and it was delicious. Also it was still open at sunday evening, when many other places were already closed.

I stayed at Hotel Flosdorff in late Jan 2018. The owner was hospitable beyond expectation. The location/pictures are accurate and the hotel is warm/convenient to access. I will happily stay here again

The most amazing steak in all Germany

We had vegetarian dishes - Spargel and Gemüse Pfanne. After a heavy walk in the Eifelsteig, we felt the quantity was a little less. Also, there was very little taste and flavour. It's a very nice place for a coffee or a beer, so highly recommended for that. Skip for (vegetarian or vegan) food.

My wife and I were there on 15.05.2018 in good weather food. I had a pork fillet with pepper sauce and my wife baked a schnitzel with cheese. It was quite busy and the salad bar was empty. We had to wait until she was refilled. Service was not the fastest, but not slow. It was very busy. The taste was okay but not outstanding. P.-L. relationship was also just so limited. The ice cream for dessert was just normal and the cream could have tolerated some sugar. Overall not bad, but could be better. In any case, you do not do anything wrong when you stop there. But there are better places there.

Great place to get away from all the tourists, eat in a chill place, waitresses are very nice, lively. Food is tasty, although the bratwurst is more a Thüringer or a Currywurst without the curry than a proper Bratwurst.

not big, but clean and cozy. Very reasonable prise.most meals range between 10 to 15 euro, including a bowl of day soup. Taste is not bad, though not awesome.

Dishes are spartan in their lay-out. For example, the asparagus with ham is simply asparagus, ham and a butter sauce. But every ingrediënt is well-prepared and tasty. Service is very friendly too, even when customers are very demanding.

Good price for the quality. Nice serving staff and everything is clean and tidy. Don't expect a super fancy restaurant or fancy food, but it's all tasty and affordable.
